Branded Documentaries

for Documentary-Worthy Brands

Turning your brand into the
of your space.

We create documentaries and ongoing YouTube series for brands, built around compelling people in your industry.

These films give you:

Improved Customer Loyalty

Once someone identifies with what your brand stands for, they stop comparing you to alternatives and start paying a premium to belong, which is where real lifetime value comes from.

Increased Website Traffic

Content people genuinely want to watch spreads on its own, and every organic view lands on an asset you own outright, so the traffic keeps arriving years after the release rather than ending with a campaign or sponsorship deal.

Enhanced Ad Performance

A viewer who already knows your brand is warmer, cheaper to retarget, and takes far less convincing at the point of purchase, so the same media budget stretches farther on an audience that’s familiar with your YouTube content.

Reach Entirely New Audiences

Each episode is built around an influential person in your space who comes on as a collaborator to cross-promote the episode to their audience, we hand them a full package of cuts to run on their own channels, so their audience meets your brand through someone they already trust.

Who This Is For

  1. You're already running paid, UGC, and creator partnerships, and they're performing.

  2. You haven’t yet taken longform content as seriously as you want to.

  3. Your brand’s culture and community is full of interesting people and stories.

  4. Your internal team is at capacity, and you can’t justify multiple new hires for longform.

  5. Your competitors are already building serious brands and you don't want to be left behind.

Why It Works

01.

Your Ads Become More Efficient

When someone already knows your brand and believes in it, they’re far more receptive to ads.

Brands with strong identity consistently see lower CAC and higher conversion rates on podcast ad reads, UGC, or direct response ads.

02.

You Attract a New Kind of Customer

The person who only buys a black friday deal is not the same person who pays double the price because they truly believe in the brand.

Resonating with customers on a personal level created longterm loyalty that no ad or flash deal can compete with.

Great Content Grows Itself

03.

The people we interview in your episodes already have audiences of their own.

When you make something genuinely great about someone, they share it, crosspost it, and talk about it.

Soon you have countless influential and important people in your space excited to be in your next episode.

04.

All It Takes Is One Great Video

Every dollar you spend on ads produces exactly what you paid for and nothing more.

But one great episode of your series can generate traffic, press, and new customers at a scale no ad budget can predictably buy. It's the only marketing format where the upside is genuinely unlimited.

05.

You Own It Forever

Your series lives on your channel forever.

Your series generates traffic forever.

Every video produced under your own brand is a truly evergreen asset that connects with your audience for years into the future

Who Am I

I’m a documentary filmmaker, with 7 years of experience working across character-driven documentaries and commercial films for companies like:

As well as directing award-winning short docs, like CLETUS:

And editing Youtube content for creators like Dan Churchill, creating his most-viewed videos to date:

400K+ Views

225K+ Views

My experience in the documentary world has shown me firsthand what happens when a story is told with real intention. I've directed documentary content for nonprofits that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, not because it was a polished fundraising appeal, but because it made people genuinely care.

Right now, online audiences are responding to that more than ever. People have become completely immune to traditional advertising. When you give people a show, not an ad, something that they actually want to watch, a whole new bond is formed between brand and consumer.

Turning short docs into a consistent online series for forward-thinking brands is something I’m incredibly excited to put into motion.

Styles & Examples

Tier 1:

The Interview Series

Casual, interview-driven, repeatable format. An easily digestible series highlighting a consistent variable in each subject’s life that features a direct correlation to your product or brand’s philosophy.

Tier 2:

The Branded Doc Series

YETI and Patagonia level. Full cinematic treatment. A person, a landscape, a philosophy. This is the thing people remember five years later. Premium budget, premium output, premium impact.

What You Get

Every shoot day produces a full month of content, ready to hand off to your team and deploy across every channel.

The Flagship Film

01.

One full episode of your new series, built for Youtube. Five to twenty minutes depending on format. Built around a compelling person in your brand's world: an athlete, a chef, an artist, a founder, someone your audience already admires or needs to know about.

This is not an advertisement, it’s a film. No hard sell, no flashy product placement. Just an honest portrait of someone worth watching, from you to your audience.

Shortform Package

02.

Eight to twelve cuts pulled directly from the anchor piece and optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, strategically clipped to stop the scroll, tease the full episode, and drive traffic back to your YouTube channel.

Short form feeds the algorithm and puts your brand in front of new audiences daily. The anchor piece is where those people land and fall in love with what you're building.

Ad Creatives

03.

Scripted ad reads, product demos, campaign assets, anything your internal content team wants us to capture while we’re there with the subject of the film. You let us know what you need and we’ll include it in the shoot schedule.

The authenticity of a real person in a real story combined with the craft of a professional production. That combination is what's winning in paid media right now and it's nearly impossible to replicate with a traditional ad shoot.

04.

Stills & B-Roll Library

50+ stills and 20+ b-roll clips from the shoot day, cut, colored, and organized.

Lifestyle shots, portraits, product in context, environmental stills. Behind the scenes moments, transition clips, wide landscapes, close detail shots, you name it.

Your internal team can pull from this library for ads, email campaigns, website updates, social posts, and press for months after the shoot. No additional photographer. No separate shoot day. It's all captured as part of the same production.

Our Process

Ideation

01.

We sit down with you 6 weeks before your upcoming quarter of content begins. We learn everything about your upcoming product launches, sales, events and partnerships to strategize which products or people would be best to highlight for the next three months.

Our team and your internal creative team discuss the strongest ideas for individuals to feature in the next three episodes and what story we want to tell about them.

02.

Planning

Once we’ve decided on potential subjects, we reach out to them to pitch them on the idea and schedule filming dates.

We create custom contracts for each subject that ensure that they cross-promote the episode upon it’s release.

03.

Creative Strategy

We schedule calls with each subject for the upcoming quarter and conduct a pre-interview to discuss the story we’re telling and what needs to be filmed, and where.

We hire our film crew for each shoot and lock in all filming plans.

04.

Filming

Our crew travels to each subject to film with them for 1-2 days and capture their story.

Your marketing team is welcome to join, or tune into the interview session and filming of ad creatives through a zoom call to help shape the narrative alongside our crew.

05.

Editing & Delivery

Once footage is captured, we begin editing all of the assets that we have planned for each episode, in sequence of each release date.

For each episode, short form content is sent to your team first, then ad creatives, b-roll library, and stills, so you can begin implementing them immediately.

Finally, we complete post production on the full episode, well in advance of the release date.
